Description
A 27 year old bottle of Ladyburn bottled at cask strength. Distilled in 1973, it was then aged in a bourbon wood cask, number 3233 before being bottled in 2000. It was a run of 3000 bottles. This is bottle number 14. Ladyburn distillery was closed in 1975 and demolished 1976.
Colour: amber.
Nose:
Powerfully earthy-fruity perfumes. Fruit skins with a suggestion of oak.
Taste:
Smooth and syrupy. Sweet. Peachy, orangey.
Finish:
Classic dry oak. Peach stones typical of the finest lowland malt.
