Description
A 31 year old Littlemill whisky. Bottled by Whiskymax, as part of their Spirit & Cask Range series. The bottler sells its bottlings from well-known distilleries exclusively on the German market. Distilled on 26th November 1984, it was then aged in a Refill Bourbon Hogshead cask numbered 3899, and bottled in 2016. A run of just 250 bottles. It was bottled in its natural state. It therefore does not contain any coloring or chill filtration.
Littlemill distillery was closed in 1994, dismantled in 1997 and destroyed by fire in 2004.
Colour: gold.
Nose:
The Cask Strength Whisky is fresh and fruity on the nose. It smells of various citrus fruits. This is accompanied by spicy malt paired with sweet oak barrel influences. Light floral notes resonate.
Taste:
The Whiskymax Littlemill Cask 3899 shows in taste what the nose already promises. It has a pleasantly sweet and fruity taste profile. Citrus fruits are combined with sweet honey, vanilla and caramel. Spices and wood notes provide a pleasant contrast.
Finish:
The single malt whisky has a longer finish. It leaves behind sweet fruit notes and spicy malt after drinking.
As with all our older bottles, there may be some slight damage to the labels / box. Please see the pictures.
