Description

A 24 year old Littlemill whisky. Bottled by Whisky-Fässle of Germany. Distilled in 1990, it was then aged in a bourbon cask and bottled in 2014. Littlemill distillery was closed in 1994, dismantled in 1997 and destroyed by fire in 2004.

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Fruity, classic passion fruits and mangos, with banana, some tangerine and a little apple juice, honey and dried apricots.

Taste: The fruitiness is really huge, plump tropical fruit and citrus juice. Orange, peach, passion fruit, mango sorbet, pineapple juice, there is also vanilla, thyme, marjoram, oregano and dry oak. Subtle notes of ginger and soft smoke. Quite full and smooth.

Finish: Quite long, a pleasant dry fruitiness stays in the mouth the sweet and pleasant bitterness of the grape skins and the juice, diffuse scents of fruit that last.
