Description

A 23 year old Littlemill whisky. Bottled by Whisky-Fässle of Germany. Distilled in 1990, it was then aged in a bourbon cask and bottled in 2014. Littlemill distillery was closed in 1994, dismantled in 1997 and destroyed by fire in 2004.

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Fruity, clean, ridiculously zesty and tropical. This nose is tediously wonderful grapefruits and mangos. With water: some wood coming out, menthol, eucalyptus and liquorice.

Taste: (neat): Fruity, with just a wee touch of brine. The combination with the tropical fruits is brilliant. With water: even better. Pink grapefruits, guavas, all that with a touch of salt.

Finish: Quite long, very tropical, always a little salty, always perfect.
