Description

A 27 year old Littlemill whisky. Bottled by Cadenhead’s, as part of their Closed Distilleries series. Distilled in 1991, it was then aged in a bourbon barrel cask and bottled in May 2018. A run of just 48 bottles. Littlemill distillery was closed in 1994, dismantled in 1997 and destroyed by fire in 2004.

Colour: pale gold.

Nose:
Whole limes, oily with soft dunnage warehouse notes, pickles and growing citrus notes.

Taste:
Very fruity, caramelised bananas, apple, prune and honeycomb. Chewy with faint medicinal notes.

Finish:
Spearmint. olive oil, lime and fennel with hints of peshwari naan bread.

As with all our older bottles, there may be some slight damage to the labels / box.  Please see the pictures.
