Description

A 27 year old Macallan whisky. Bottled by Douglas Laing as part of their Old & Rare Platinum Selection series. Distilled in April 1976 before being bottled in October 2003. A run of just 267 bottles, this is bottle number 186.

Colour: Mid gold.

Nose:
It is big, powerful and roundly full, sweet and creamy.

Taste:
The body is light, the palate complex mixing pears, marzipan and citrus fruit with vanilla and oak.

Finish:
The finish is long, attactively honeyed, vanilla’d and nutty, hinting at cloves.

As with all our older bottles, there may be some slight damage to the labels / box.  Please see the pictures.
