Description

A 20 year old Bruichladdich whisky. Bottled by Signatory as part of their Vintage Collection series. Distilled on 26 November 1969 and matured in oak casks, No.’s 4928-4932, before being bottled in August 1990. A run of just 700 bottles, this is bottle no. 235.

Colour: Full gold.

Nose:
Notes of orange squash and fresh hazelnuts, then there are notes of peaches and clay and gooseberries and finally a little brine, fresh almonds, faint hints of rubber and touches of honey.

Taste:
Rounder and creamier than expected at first sipping, more on apricot jam and light honey. More cereally as well with notes of marzipan and milk chocolate and finally a slight bitterness from the oak.

Finish:
A tad maltier, with notes of coffee.

As with all our older bottles, there may be some slight damage to the labels / box.  Please see the pictures.
